The Monaco Grand Prix is the most prestigious race on the F1 Calendar with super yachts offering incredible trackside views of the F1 cars. Amber Lounge Yacht guests experienced the ultimate race viewing and hospitality options last weekend. The triple deck luxury 30m vessel allowed guests to tower above neighbouring yachts, offering a panoramic view of the port, the yachts, the track and the crowds! It was perfectly positioned to catch every second of the high speed action, including Maldonado’s unfortunate accident on Tabacco Corner. The talented singer- song writer John Martin (Swedish House Mafia); actor Kellen Lutz from Twilight; model Stacy Keibler, singer Eva Simons, and many other celebs joined the Amber Lounge Yacht to make the most of their action-packed weekend! F1 drivers Romain Grosjean and Jerome d’Ambrosio from Lotus Renault joined the guests on-board, providing a detailed outlook of the weekend’s action and their prediction’s for Sunday! Mika Hakkinen and David Coulthard also made an appearance to talk to the guests, offering their experienced perspective on the current teams and drivers. The action wasn’t only on the track; the Amber Lounge team of private chefs put together a luxurious selection of delicious treats, including fresh lobster and summery delights. An open bar of the finest wines and Champagnes were served, complimented by spirits such as DQ Vodka and GIZE; the luxury gold-filtered water.
On Sunday, as the cheering of the crowds slowly faded away, the party was still pumping on the Amber Lounge Yacht! The Amber Lounge Hospitality Manager Kirsty Gallagher, the guests and even the crew put on a show for the spectators in the grandstands and on the track with a Harlem Shake! In 2012, the Amber Lounge Fashion show in Monaco was an incredible event. The charity auction raised nearly €500,000 for the Special
Olympics. It could have been a scene from a 1950’s movie. Royalty mingled with Hollywood stars and sporting heroes as the lights of Monte Carlo glittered in the distance. Issa London wowed an audience including H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco, Bernie Ecclestone, Sophie Countess of Wessex, Vanessa Hudgens, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult and Jacqueline Fernandez at Le Meridien Beach Plaza, with a dazzling combination of feminine elegance. Twelve F1 drivers swapped the racetrack for the catwalk to model Philipp Plein’s masculine Rock ‘n’ Roll style collection, while the debut luxury swim range from Nichole de Carle London also made a splash, accompanied by amazing performances from Aquabatix and Labrinth. Shakedown is scheduled for Tuesday 15 January with the official starting ceremony taking place from 18:00hrs the same day.
